The children were so excited to welcome Herbie to their Teddy Bears Picnic.

We had a day learning to use puppets and using them to tell traditional tales. Great fun was had by all!

As part of our ‘living things’ topic we welcomed our local ‘Pets at Home’ staff and animals into school. The children learned a lot about caring for pets and they enjoyed handling the animals.

The Y2 children are learning about ‘A Healthy, Happy ME!’ As part of this topic they took part in a P.T. session organised by the Army. The children and staff really enjoyed the day. The next day the children worked with county caterers to prepare their own healthy lunches!

As part of our design technology led topic the KS1 children worked alongside their parents making some amazing robots out of junk!
